Executive Coaching · AI Transformation
AI is reshaping how we work. The leaders navigating it best aren't the fastest adopters - they're the clearest. This coaching exists for that kind of clarity.
Who this is for
This coaching is not only for C-suite leaders. It's for anyone navigating the human side of AI - whether you're responsible for how your organisation adapts, or you're a leader or professional trying to find your own footing in a world that's moving fast.
Does this sound familiar?
"I know this matters. I just don't know where to start - for myself or my team. Every time I carve out headspace, something else takes over. I'm functioning. But I don't feel clear."
Finding your footing
"I've done the work. I get the tools, I can see where this needs to go. But I'm increasingly alone with it. My peers aren't there yet. My team moves slower than I need. I'm the one pulling - and it's exhausting."
Leading ahead of the field
Whichever you recognise - this coaching is for you. The work looks different. The direction is the same.
The goal isn't to keep up with AI.
It's to remain fully, usefully human alongside it.
What You Get
Coaching only matters if something changes. Here's what that looks like in practice - whether it's a single Hotspot Session or a sustained partnership.
You leave every session with a concrete next move on the specific challenge you brought - not a general framework applied to your life.
What to say to your teams and peers about AI, roles and the future of work - scoped with someone who understands both sides.
The capacity to make good decisions without having every answer, and to keep making them as the landscape keeps shifting.
Clarity on what you actually think, and the confidence to say it and move on it - before every variable is resolved, not after.
The paralysis of having too much to think about gives way to real execution - specific actions taken, not just intentions formed.
Real AI workflow changes that save meaningful time, reinvested wherever it matters most to you. The Tools Session guarantees at least one - or the fee is refunded.
The Method
Inside-out, not outside-in. Around 70% of what moves you forward comes from you - the rest is guidance, not instruction. Built on 23 years of behaviour-change work and the same reverse-consulting methodology behind Being Human in the Age of AI.
More on the approach ↓Who's Coaching You
In 2017, Emma built one of the world's first AI coaches - years before ChatGPT existed. She has personally delivered or overseen more than 24,000 coaching conversations since, pairing genuine technical depth with coaching experience at real scale.
More about Emma ↓What you're actually navigating
Most people in these roles already know something is wrong. The challenge isn't recognition - it's headspace. The complexity is real, the pace is relentless, and the harder it gets to think clearly, the harder it becomes to carve out the conditions to do it.
This isn't just about who owns AI inside your organisation. The world itself is less stable than it was. Geopolitical shifts, trade tensions, policy reversals, regulatory fragmentation - leaders are making significant decisions in conditions of genuine, sustained uncertainty. That instability doesn't stay outside the building. It comes in through your people, your board, your funding conversations. On top of that, the internal politics of AI - who leads it, who has authority, who is accountable when something goes wrong - are playing out without clear rules and without precedent.
The pressure to show ROI on AI sits on top of every other economic pressure your organisation is already carrying - restructuring, budget constraints, doing more with less, the turbulence of the pandemic years that many organisations never fully recovered from before this next wave arrived. For talent, learning and people functions: the case for human investment has never been harder to make on paper, and never been more important in practice. The tension between those two things is not small.
There is no normal any more. The pandemic broke something in the social contract of work, and it has not been fully rebuilt. People are depleted - many still quietly grieving for certainty, for the version of their career they expected to have. You are being asked to lead people through fear and uncertainty while experiencing your own version of both. That is a particular kind of weight. The identity questions run deep for the people around you - and they run just as deep for you.
AI is arriving on top of digital transformation, on top of the tools shift that happened during the pandemic, on top of tool fatigue that was already there. People have been adapting to significant change for years. They are tired. The pace of AI development outstrips most organisations' ability to absorb it - and that gap keeps widening. For learning, talent and capability functions: your own expertise and platforms are being disrupted at the same time you're supposed to be leading everyone else through theirs. The paralysis this creates is real. And rational.
Data privacy, IP ownership, liability for AI-generated content, employment law implications of AI-assisted decisions, compliance across geographies - the legal landscape is moving almost as fast as the technology. Most organisations are working in a grey zone, hoping governance catches up before anything surfaces. That is an uncomfortable position to be responsible from. And most people leading in this space are doing exactly that.
The hardest questions here aren't technical. What do we owe our people during this shift? Where is the line between efficiency and extraction? What does it mean to be responsible for human development in a world that can automate so much of it? These aren't abstract boardroom questions. They live in real decisions - about roles, about investment, about how you talk to people who are afraid. And often, they land on your desk without a good answer attached.
This is the landscape. It's also where the work begins.
Our Approach
Most AI advice comes at you from the outside - frameworks, toolkits, someone else's strategy installed into your organisation. This coaching works in the opposite direction. We start with what's actually happening for you, and build outward from there.
The approach is built on 23 years of behaviour change experience and the same reverse consulting methodology that underpins Being Human in the Age of AI - because the best answers to your challenges begin where you are.
Around 70% of what moves you forward will come from you. About 20% will come from me - questions, challenges, reframes. For the remaining 10%, we may occasionally need other specialist input. My job is to guide a conversation that generates movement.
You are not a passenger in this era. We work to restore your sense of authorship over your own path - your decisions, your direction, your leadership identity.
This isn't just reflection - it's movement. Every session ends with something concrete. We're building momentum, not only awareness.
Someone in your corner holding the standard with you - not over you. This thinking partnership keeps you honest about what you said you wanted.
The Sessions
Most people aren't struggling because they lack intelligence or effort. They're struggling because the conditions make it very hard to see clearly. AI transformation doesn't create just one kind of problem - it creates three. All sessions are one-to-one with Emma. Most people find they need more than one type. The three modes are available across every engagement.
Clarity of direction
Clarity of capability
Clarity of self
Where are you now? Where are you trying to get to? And what's actually in the way?
This is the core of the work. We focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be, and build an honest, practical path between the two. You bring a challenge, or opportunity; we move.
Sometimes the challenge isn't your own clarity - it's translating that clarity into movement across a team or organisation that isn't quite where you are yet. That's coaching work too.
A hands-on working session for your actual AI workflow.
We screen-share your current setup, look at what you're using, where you're leaving value on the table, and what's not working. Better prompting, smarter workflows, real efficiency gains - reinvested wherever they matter most to you.
For when something is particularly emotionally charged, and you want to understand and work with it, rather than ignore it.
Emotions don't arrive randomly. They come from beliefs - and beliefs can be examined. A Perspective Session works at that level: what are you feeling, what belief sits underneath it, and is that belief actually serving you? This is the work that machines genuinely cannot do. And it's often the work that changes the most.
Available within packagesOur Commitment
These sessions are designed to create change. That's what we're here for.
The Tools Session comes with a specific guarantee: if we don't identify at least one workflow change that saves you meaningful time each week, the session fee is refunded. For the coaching work, the commitment is the same in spirit - if after your first Hotspot you don't feel the value was there, reach out. We'll make it right.

About Emma
In 2017 - years before AI entered the mainstream - Emma built one of the world's first AI coaches. She was on the beta version of what became ChatGPT before it launched to the world. Not as an observer. As a practitioner building something that most people said couldn't be done.
Her practice has delivered over 24,000 coaching conversations. Emma personally trained and mentored the team who ran them. That combination - genuine technical depth alongside coaching experience at that scale - exists almost nowhere else in this field.
Most people advising on AI transformation learned about it. Emma built it, deployed it, and spent over two decades before that understanding why and how people actually change.
She is currently writing Being Human in the Age of AI, and works with leaders across Australia, the UK and globally through her practice and through Being Human in the Age of AI.
